Now That Takes The Biscuit is a short film produced by Studio Lampion co-founder Stefan Minning during his time in college.
The film is inspired by a short sequence from Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and features little more than two old blokes on a bench.

The film tells the story of how the ol' chaps Edward and Rupert make an awkward acquaintance waiting for their train to arrive. Rupert brought some biscuits and has been looking forward to nibbling them for a while. He takes a seat next to Edward, who is killing time reading the morning paper. Ready to devour a crispy cookie, Rupert reaches out for the box, when something rather peculiar happens...

The main focus during the production of this short film was on the background paintings and the overall look, while the actual story and animation was more of an afterthought and hence not quite ready for prime-time.
